Micromag [ECLIPSE Corporation]

Compact design magnet filter. Just install it in the piping! Sludge removal is also easy.

The "Micromag" is a magnetic filter that can remove fine iron particles at a submicron level simply by being attached to existing piping. The patented "magnetic circuit design" prevents pressure drops during use! The cover is transparent, allowing for visual confirmation of sludge conditions. It is ideal for use in machine tools such as grinding machines, machining centers, and lathes, contributing to the longevity of pumps and filters. 【Features】 ■ Economical due to minimal consumables ■ Uses 4500 Gauss neodymium magnets ■ Easy removal of sludge ■ No electricity required ■ Capable of removing some particles that do not adhere to abrasives or magnets due to heterogeneous coagulation *For more details, please refer to the catalog. Micromag MM20 [ECLIPSE Corporation]

Improvement of the efficiency of electric discharge machining (EDM)

We would like to introduce the benefits of installing the Micromag MM20 on a discharge machining machine as a case study!! The Micromag filters cutting fluid from steel materials and removes very fine iron particles. By eliminating these fine particles, the liquid becomes cleaner, which reduces secondary sparks, significantly decreases energy consumption, and minimizes wire breakage, making the process even more efficient. As a result of the reduction in wire breakage and secondary sparks, a significant increase in the machine's cutting speed was observed, with improvements ranging from 17% to 30% in tests.
